Your site fills the needs of a niche, and you’re getting to be the “go to” place for your subject. You have a great archive of articles, and you authoritatively answer questions from your target group. What’s missing? Product or service reviews.
By reviewing products and services, you provide your merchant partners with an invaluable service - pre-selling. You’ve already done the first step of the work when you decided to form affiliate relationships with certain companies. You know the buyers of their products and services. But different people want different versions, price ranges and features. You are ideally situated to help them move forward with a purchase, one that makes commissions for you!
A product review can be in-depth descriptions and discussions of individual products, in a “Featured Product” showcase. A second form is the comparison of several products, for instance, stadium blankets. Read through product descriptions and come up with the attributes that people look for in stadium blankets. Then make a grid with affiliate merchants listed in the left column, and half dozen of the most important attributes listed in columns across the top. Then fill in the information about five or six products. You will also want to have a column for your comments, and perhaps a designation of “Best Value” or “Hot Product”.
Have fun with it. Use things, try things on, and really learn about your merchants or advertisers. And if you find that the products of a particular merchant just aren’t measuring up, you might want to investigate further. The quality of merchant products does reflect on your site, and you need to constantly be guard it. By doing product reviews, you’ll be doing a service to your site as well as to your site visitors.

It frightened me when I got married how much “more of a person”
I was treated by society.
Those who are single often state their fears of being outcast by
the “normal” married people. And married people nod their heads
and say “That’s right, we should be more considerate.” But then
nothing happens.
Here’s some things that happened to me when I was single:
Whenever someone needed to stay late at work I was always the
one told to stay late because “I was single and don’t have
anything else to do.” Yes, that’s a direct quote from a former
boss. At church and in business, I was seldom taken seriously in
meetings and was often ignored when I had questions or comments.
Several real estate agents would pass me on to other agents and
refuse to work with me. I learned that one human resources
manager refused to interview me for a position that I desired
and was well qualified for specifically because I was single.
One church I attended required those in the singles ministry to
park in a different parking lot about a quarter mile away from
services. These kinds of events never happen now that I am
married!
In the Church, we need to be sure to never, ever treat single
people as “second-class citizens” and to instead remember that
Christ died for everyone and we should follow His lead of loving
others no matter what their present state.

What will they say?
(a hundred years from now)
about the age of today
in my dream, I appeared
on earth as bitter-sweet fruit
Human I was, with evil and sin
(the beast within)
I had to touch, to feel it
When I was young, I worked
every job they had all thirty-some!
An era
that has passed for good
never to return
The old oaks, cornfields,
and creeks, (sunfish),
and mother’s cooking
pork-steak with beans,
never to return
I’ve loved many in my life
disgusting as it may seem
not sure why,
nothing was accomplished
just erotic flings
But time has had it toll;
my eyes are weak
my bones are dry
the part of my unused brain
has stored up
too much salt and pepper
[often called: pain]
But I was human
when I appeared on earth
descended from the sky
and like most folksI
loved, I cursed, I lied
It’s funny how dreams
can seem to be so much like
real life

Earth Ticket
I dreamed I was a machine
made on some far-off planet
and planted here, on planet earth.
(We dream, weird-dreams, do we not.)
I can’t remember much, only that it
was my time on earth (impoverished,
rich, it didn’t matter, I had my earth-ticket
in my hand.)
I knew what I am for, no need to ask
(perhaps the ignorant or suffering may)
but it seems obvious to me: to become
a member of the faith (to believe).

The Scribe Listened
When I was born, I had a
Feeling (premonition)
I asked for earth, and got it.
And I learned somewhere along
This journey of journeys,
To be confident (not entirely)
But I suppose that comes from
A feeling of abandonment!
But then, Christ fixed that
With faith (did He not)
I spoke to God later on in life
To angels and even demon,
With pale white wings…
How fortunate were my days
Here on earth to have had time
To mold, learn and change.

The Witness
I told myself what I was
meant to be
(in a world that could careless
if I was, or was not)
what I was meant to be
was not a piece of driftwood,
or a lazy silent-stone.
(why should I debate or argue
this, I asked myself((inside
my dream, now shrinking))
Born to bear witness
(to God’s glory, His story):
life and death
birth and pain
light and dark
love and hate
and to acclaim:
there is no mystery…!
