As small children, we were all wild. Not unlike the wolf pup in the den, we ran when we felt like it, sniffed or tasted things to see what they were, yelled when the mood struck us and danced at the drop of a hat. We loved to dig in the earth, heave a rock into a pool, roll and tumble on the ground and run naked whenever we could. We loved ourselves and we loved our bodies. We knew no fear.
Of course, we were also taught to give that all up. “Act your age!” “Don’t be such a wild thing!” our parents told us. Grow UP. The list of unacceptable behaviors got longer and longer, until the wild part of us just went to sleep.
But the wildness is still inside of us, and we all need to make the connection to it to be a whole, happy person. It is there for a reason, and when we can find it, wake it up and make it a working part of our psyche, we are all the better for it.
The wildness holds our deeper intuition. That sniffing and tasting to discover what a thing was… it kept us out of a lot of harmful situations! We knew instinctively when something or someone should be avoided. As small children, that instinct was not fully developed, of course, but as adults we can use that wildness to guide us in ways that we need. When we allow our wild side to remain buried and asleep we are a lot more likely to blunder into situations and relationships that are not good for us!
The wildness allowed us to have fun and to connect to the rhythms of the universe at lot more easily. We can all use a good roll on the ground from time to time. A good long howl at the moon when we are sad can really go a long way to making us feel better. Heaving a rock into a pool is very therapeutic when angry.
Women especially have lost that wild nature. They complain long and hard about men being so free with their bodily functions, and the fact that they are acting like “little boys” all the time. Well, ladies, I strongly suggest that you give it a try! Women need to let go of all the civilization once in awhile. We have had all the wildness bred out of us, and it is unhealthy! Many women feel a yearning as they grow older to dig in the earth (gardening), act a little silly or wild from time to time, and yet they are so frightened… what will the neighbors (mates, parents, friends, strangers) think?
Ha! Who cares? I would rather be known as that sort of strange lady who lives down the block than I would be frustrated and pent-up. No chemical hair dye and plastic surgery for me.
An excellent book about this is “Women Who Run With The Wolves” by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. I have a sort of goal to get every woman on earth to read this book! Cast off your pantyhose and dance… let loose the wildness and howl at the moon! You have nothing to lose but your ulcers, your unhappiness, your fear and your yearning.
You will gain your personal power, your joy, your connection and your intuitive self.
I hope to bump into you some night, running under the full moon… in the wild.

How To Defend Yourself
Do you ever find yourself feeling overwhelmed? Do you sometimes feel like you just have too much to think about? Does it make you tired, irritable, or even depressed? What can you do about it?
People rarely go to the doctor to say “I think I have stress,” and yet the National Institutes of Health say that 80% of illnesses are caused by stress, directly or indirectly. Hormones, such as adrenalin, are released into your blood when you’re stressed. This causes a rise in blood pressure, a faster heart and breathing rate, and faster conversion of glycogen into glucose. These are good things if you need to escape a charging grizzly bear, but when these effects are prolonged, the immune system is depressed, and your body suffers other negative changes.
Common effects of prolonged stress include fatigue, pain in the muscles and joints, headache, mental confusion, depression, anxiety, and irritability. Stress reactions cause your body to use too much energy, which can result in physical and mental weakness.
Managing Stress With Meditation
Years ago at Stanford University, an analysis of 146 meditation studies was done. The conclusion was that meditation not only was beneficial at the time of practice, but that it significantly reduced anxiety as a character trait. The studies focused on transcendental meditation, but it’s probable most methods have similar results. (Reported in the Journal of Clinical Psychology 45: 957974, 1989.)
The bottom line is that stress is a killer, and that meditation really can help you defend yourself. Traditional meditation may have the most beneficial effects, but maybe you’re short on time, or uncertain about learning to meditate. In that case, there are two simple techniques you can learn in a few minutes, and start using today.
The first is a breathing meditation. Close your eyes, let the tension drain from your muscles, let go of your thoughts (to the extent possible), and breath deeply through your nose, paying attention to your breath. As thoughts or sensations arise, just acknowledge them and return your attention to your breath as it goes in and out. Do this for five or ten minutes.
To use the second technique, stop whatever you’re doing when you feel stressed, and take three deep breaths. Watch yourself until you identify what is bothering you. Are you worried about something? Is there a letter you need to write? Maybe your neck is sore. Note everything you find.
Now deal with these stressors. Write the letter that’s on your mind, take an aspirin, put things on tomorrow’s list. If the best you can do is recognise there’s nothing you can do right now - then do that. With practice, you’ll get better at finding what’s just below the surface of consciousness, irritating you. After you address these things, close your eyes, take three deep breaths, and you’ll feel more relaxed and able to think clearly. Try it now.

“Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?” (Luke 17:17).
If ever there is a narrative of indifference bordering on utter ingratitude, it is here in this account of the ten lepers who besieged and beseeched Jesus to cure them. It must have touched Jesus deeply, for He no doubt saw in this sorry display of thoughtlessness the whole attitude toward His Father and Himself, both then and always. Again, it is the Samaritan–the foreigner–who returns in adoration and overwhelming gratitude. The others on whom He also lavished love and grace ran off to continue with everyday life and its distractions, not even looking back. The ten had faith enough to receive health; the one who returned with appreciation was given that extra measure of friendship with God. The others would never realize what they missed.
What excuses have we for our ingratitude? Do we underestimate the cost of His love for us? Do we not realize what it means to our Savior to have us love Him back; to be grateful to Him for the immeasurable blessings He bestows on us every day? “Every good and perfect gift is from above…” (James 1:17). Perhaps we have heard someone say it’s useless to thank God for gifts that He so willingly presents; that God’s joy is in His generosity. But He does want us to thank Him, not for His sake but for ours. Our gratitude is our recognition of indebtedness to Him who gives all. To acknowledge another’s gift is moral strength; to ignore the grace of another is base lack of recognition of the Giver. God hurts when we are indifferent to His love that He gives to all, rich and poor, just and unjust.
Contrast this with Elisha’s noble reaction to all that the widow had done for him: “You have gone to all this trouble for us. Now what can be done for you?” (2 Kings 4:13).

Excerpt From The Relationship Handbook: How to Understand and
Improve Every Relationship in Your Life by Kevin B. Burk
Many of us have some very definite ideas about anger. We see anger as
destructive and hurtful. We consider it to be an inappropriate response. We equate
anger with violence. In short, we feel that anger is simply wrong, and that when we
experience anger, there’s something wrong with us. Anger isn’t nice. Anger isn’t
polite. And anger certainly isn’t our friend.
Anger can be all of these things. But anger is also useful, necessary and even
healing. We need our anger. We simply need to learn how to express our anger in
appropriate, conscious, supportive ways. On its own, anger is neither good nor bad.
It can be used to hurt, or it can be used to heal. It may not be a particularly pleasant
emotion, but it’s an important one. We can all benefit from exploring the nature of
anger.
Guy Williams, a friend of mine who also happens to be a minister of Religious
Science offers a tremendously insightful approach for understanding anger. Guy
says that anger arises from a communication not delivered or an expectation not
met. Anger is actually a tertiary response: our initial responses are grief and fear.
First, we grieve the death of the expectation that was not met. Next, we fear that
things will never change. Finally, we experience anger.
So few of us recognize that anger can be a positive, healing response. When we
allow ourselves to experience anger, it focuses our minds, and strengthens our
resolve. We discover reserves of strength and power. Our anger is what gives us the
courage and the power to confront our fear that things will never change, by
creating change.
Let’s consider an example. We expect that our boundaries will be respected by
others. When someone crosses a boundary, that expectation has not been met. The
first thing we do is grieve the death of the expectation that other people will respect
our boundaries. We feel unsafe because our boundary has been violated. But we also
experience fear. We’re afraid that things will never change: that our boundaries will
not protect us because other people will not honor them. Our anger, however, is
what allows us to change this. Our anger gives us the strength to defend ourselves.
Our anger gives us the power and the courage to stand up and demand that our
boundaries be respected. Our anger, in fact, enables us to feel safe again.
Expressing our anger helps us to redefine and reinforce our boundaries. We know
we can defend ourselves, and therefore we feel safe.
When we don’t express our anger in healthy, conscious ways, we buy into the fear
that things will never change. We feel unsafe. More importantly, we expect that we
will always feel unsafe. Unexpressed anger inevitably turns to resentment and
depression.
Anger is our call to awareness. Our anger encourages us to become conscious of a
limiting belief. The key to experiencing anger in a healing way is to own our anger.
We can then choose how to express our anger. We do not need to lash out, nor do
we need to hurt anyone with our anger. Instead, we can choose to alter our thinking,
change the limiting belief, and reclaim another piece of our true selves. When we
embrace and understand the true nature of anger, anger can empower us, and help
us to feel truly safe.

In the internet business world productive web traffic is the key to success-this means that not only do you need to get traffic to your site, but they also need to purchase a product or service. Potentially there can be hundreds of sites selling the same product or service that you are-and not only do you have to compete with them for business, but also the brick and mortar businesses out there. In order to increase web traffic to your site there are some innovative marketing techniques that may be helpful.
Double Targeting: this type of marketing narrows down your potential customer base to those “web surfers” who are truly interested in what you are selling. Here’s how it works: a person types a keyword or keyword phrase into a search engine. Then the web traffic is directed to an informational site that is directly related to your product or service. The page also features an ad for your business which interested customers can click on. The customers have shown interest not only once, but twice in your particular product or service.
Pay per click services: These are not one of the newer types of online marketing. It increases web traffic by targeting customers through a keyword based search engine. You bid for the right to certain keywords or keyword phrases and then if you win, you will be placed at the top of a search engine for those words or phrases. Each time someone clicks on your site, you pay the fee for those words. Now, you can also find pay per sale services, which means that you only pay a fee if you make a sale from the web traffic.
Informational articles: You can write an article or have someone else write an “expert” article about your product or service, that does not sell your product and place it on a site which contains thousands of other articles. When the web traffic there enters search terms that bring up your article, you can have links to your site. It is also a form of double targeting.
Opt-in e-mail services: This is where you contract with a service that sends out e-mails to people who have asked for information on related services and advertisements. This can be risky if the company that you contract with uses unethical methods such as SPAM in an attempt to get web traffic.
Affiliated advertising: If you can find a business that offers a product or service that is not the same as yours, but that is relatedsuch as an RV park and an RV dealership you can both increase web traffic by advertising on each other’s sites.
There are many creative ways to increase your web traffic if you just look for them. Keep an open mind and do what works for you. If it is not working do not continue to put time, energy, and most importantly, money into it. If it is working, you may want to increase its use.

When you are just about to start to play cricket it is not always straightforward to choose what you should obtain. If you go into a sports equipment shop and ask them what you need, you will most likely finish up coming out with a large amount of gear that you don’t need. Hence, it is reasonable to figure out what you want previous to you going shopping. That way you are very much more likely to receive what you want, rather than what the shop manager recommends you need. For great offers on camping gear visit the Sportswear-Equipment.com today.
Below, is more or less an inclusive cricket equipment list, you do not have to get all the items on this list, as various clubs will loan you kit in particular at youth level:
Cricket whites, cricket bats, balls, helmets, gloves, batting (wicket keeping) inner gloves, wicket keeping gloves, batting pads, wicket keeping pads, box, chest pad, arm guard, inner thigh pad, cricket boots (bowling boots; batting boots), box (groin guard), stumps and bails.
For the majority of sports competitions you partake in you will need to have your very own set of whites. Cricket whites contain white cricket trousers & cricket shirt. Make certain that you get hold of a correct set of cricket trousers & also a good white cricket shirt and jumper as it can rapidly turn cold if you are standing out on the field for a considerably long time especially if you are going to play in England (the start and end of the cricket season are the coldest).
If you can not borrow kit from your club the other most important items of equipment are a cricket bat and box. A good cricket bat is necessary if you want to score a lot of runs and is a very special piece of cricket equipment, therefore spend several hours choosing your bat, if possible you ought to go to a sports shop and try one out before you buy in order for you to know how it feels to play with. As soon as you know what you want you can often procure bats on the World Wide Web a great deal cheaper). You need a good box to shield your groin from the ball, as getting hit down below’ is considerably painful, so investing in a good box before you start is a defiant must - you can’t play cricket without one.

Should you be searching for the best price on fridges and freezers perusing online may be a stunning tactic to make sure you don’t squander time & money. Do not choose to waste your time trawling around numerous shops in search of the finest bargains - all you have to do is simply sit down at your pc and log on and a whole new exciting universe of fridges is there waiting for you on-line.
Then again, with unnumberable on line stores how do you possibly know which retailer may make sure you don’t waste your currency on fridges while nevertheless ensuring you find a good quality appliance. As standard best practice should you buy your fridge from an outlet on the high-street then you certainly shouldn’t really have any qualms at all about purchasing your goods from their website, also, as people should all realise that you might repeatedly grab cheaper price tags online.
Thoroughly reading a shoppers guide is consistently the very best place to begin When you are surveying the marketplace for fridges - they are generally stuffed with a wealth of info and also bring up issues you conceivably will not have thought through all by your self. These important issues have within them; energy usage, additional features and total capacity among additional things.
Don’t choose to consistently go with the lowest price - astonishingly oftentimes the first cost you observe on a website will probably not include value added tax or delivery fees also, once you reach the card payment stage you will often be charged a great deal more than you initially imagined.
When do you need it by? Not all on-line retailers offer speedy delivery and if your original appliance has just broken down you may not want to wait three weeks for your brand new one. So always check what your estimated delivery day will be. Don’t throw away your time looking for high quality fridges on bad websites.
Check the return policy - fridges are a difficult thing to purchase; sometimes they look fantastic in the showroom or on a web-site but when you get it to your home you find it doesn’t complement your kitchen at all. Therefore, you should always be careful.

A relatively new concept in the online world is “Virtual Real Estate Investing“. There are many variations on what this term means, encompassing everything from using the internet to aid in real estate investing efforts to participating in online games such as SecondLife.
To get the facts, I sought out the man generally considered to be the father of virtual real estate investing: Bryan Ellis.
When I began using the term virtual real estate investing in the late 1990s, I did so because I saw clear parallels between the strategies used for profiting from physical real estate and those that would create income in the online world, said Ellis.
Bryan Ellis cites the similar strategies one can employe to make money from “virtual property” and “physical property” as a primary parallel of the two markets. He points out that control of a domain name or even a specific web page is much like controlling a real estate property ” those assets can be monetized in similar ways: By selling them for a profit, by leasing them, by offering advertising, etc.
The parallels really are obvious. Consider: A valuable piece of real estate is valuable largely due to the interest that other people have in that specific location. Likewise, if you own a desirable domain name, others will find value in it because it serves their purposes. In either case, you could sell or lease the asset and turn it into cash.
In our next installment of this series on virtual real estate investing, Bryan Ellis will share the internet analogies to the physical concept of real estate development.

New businesses can now let their customers contact them for free or inexpensively with the use of Voice over IP telephony, without having to lease the ever more expensive toll free numbers offered by many telecoms companies around the world. With Voice over IP telephony, local numbers can be setup in scores of towns and cities across a country at relatively low costs. These can then connect to a central Voice over IP service provider, which will allow free or low rate calls to you from your customers.
Internet telephony or Voice over IP as it is more commonly known has been hailed as the next big thing in the telecommunications world for quite some time. In the past it has been plagued with poor sound and connection quality, as well as complex and frustrating installations.
With huge advances in Voice over IP technology in the last few years, you no longer have to sit at your computer in order to make a phone call over the Internet using Voice over IP. It is now possible to use an ordinary phone, connected to a Voice over IP adaptor (gateway). Some specialised Voice over IP phones (IP phones) have this technology built into their circuitry, effectively allowing you to plug and play.
Voice over IP splits your voice into Internet Protocol Data Packets. These packets are then routed over the Internet. This makes it a lot cheaper for Voice over IP service providers to carry your calls. Using this method Voice over IP service providers only have to pay a small termination fee at the point where they drop your call off. This in turn make Voice over IP extremely cost effective for those companies who cannot afford the high costs associated with those of toll free numbers. It would then become possible for example to rent phone numbers in major cities across a country at cheap rates, and people in these cities would then be able to talk to you for just the cost of a local call.
In the past few years Voice over IP has matured and is fast becoming the way to make cheap rate calls both nationally and internationally. In fact most major telecoms companies around the world, are now gearing up to charge us for the amount of data sent or received, as opposed to the length of call time. Many businesses are taking early advantage of the huge cost savings for them and their customers, through the implementation of Voice over IP telephony.

Find one of the most exclusive selections of Dubai properties here!
Regardless the fact that PropertyIndex.com is generally viewed as a young company, they were established in March 2007, they have very quickly established their expertise. On closer look, they’re a incredibly unpretentious company devoted to offering experienced guidance to every visitor who is expecting to let assets no matter where. What they pledge to do is to lend you a hand to determine dead-on what you crave quick and without hassle. Real estate can be bought in the most popular regions of the world at present, arguably the coolest area being realty for sale in Dubai City. It should really be straightforward to list a slew of the wonderful property for sale in Dubai City, the rationale for picking properties here is the houses and apartments available for sale and the fantastic opportunity of spending your life amongst such a high-spirited, keen and peppy people.
This is one of the truly trendy areas at present, and with the scenic splendor and climate surrounding you, how can you go wrong… Real estate in Dubai City is very rich in history and culture, this region has been and is still home to more than a few indigenous civilizations. Just thirty years back there was just a trickle of British people who are looking for property in Dubai City. Ask everyone who has moved to Dubai City and they will be certain to corroborate this. Plenty of people would insist on seeing it as a fleeting fad and others insist on seeing it as a that’s quite an infatuation. The people that are willing to transfer to this region generally range from young well to do couples who are looking for some new challenge in life to elderly patrons who are looking to enjoy themselves and take it easy.
Do bear in mind, however, that there might be perplexities when buying property in a foreign market; expectably there are 100s of steps to count in whether planning, visiting or signing up. If you miss out on one minor action this may easily create sizable perplexities and, more importantly, loss of money. Obviously, as can be expected with this popular destination, property may well be costly in this destination and that is unquestionably on account of the great buyer demand. However, homebuyers really are pretty spoilt for choice in a part of the world so great in terms of shiny surroundings. It indeed has the lot any of us might feasibly yearn for, and then some.
