Global warming and the recession, these twin threats have saved the S. Alps, at least for this Christmas. However it could have been so entirely different. Ahead of Christmas hamlets in the Isola 2000 region were cut off when avalanches hammered down. Road cols such as the crowded Col du Tignes-les-Brevieres were closed. In that location there was no mains or phones, locals were moved out to make shift dwellings, it appeared as though it were a double of 1997.
It seems that all news is good news. Les Grands Montets appeared nightly on national French news bulletins. Immediately mains was fixed inquiries commenced to pour in, drawn in by the first class conditions.
Val Thorens and nearby Val-d Isere have virtually 4 feet snow depth on the upper areas at 2300 meters altitude and 2.2 m at the end of the pistes. At the moment a record for France. Chamonix says there is 4 meters at the top of the resort. Regrettably snow drifts have demolished a pylon of the lift that serves the area. It is out of commission till mid February. Elsewhere in the Alps reservations have increased 15% in La Mongie, Brevent and La Clusaz. Serre Chevalier has 99.5% occupancy and traded a record breaking number of passes during Thursday. That is timely for luxury ski resorts and main skiing companies.

Computer forensics is the investigation and analysis of a crime using a computer to help solve the case. Computer forensics is used to investigate crimes with high tech programs. Computer forensics can also be used to prepare digital data suitable for inclusion in a criminal investigation.
A wide variety of methods are used to discover data hidden in a computer system. Specialists are sometimes used to help recover deleted, encrypted or damaged file information. Any or all evidence obtained can be used for discovery, depositions or actual litigation. People who are specialized in computer forensics are sometimes referred to as a CCE or a Certified Computer Examiner. Computer forensic training involves a training program with online exams.
Most computer forensic courses equip a student with a full range of computer forensics skills. Students learn to build digital forensics toolkits. They also develop skills to track an offender on the Internet, define proper evidence handling procedures and learn how to work with law enforcement agencies. The students learn to apply proven investigative strategies and are finally awarded their CCE certifications.
Computer forensic training programs cover issues like networks and protocols and the architecture of operating systems. They also include crime analysis and crime scene management and courtroom/expert witness skills.
Computer forensic training also educates cyber crime investigators in techniques of computer forensic investigations. Students are eligible for a Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator Certification or CHFI.
Government agencies and private sector companies have seen an increased demand for computer forensics in the last decade. Computer based evidence is often used in cases where incriminating documents are likely to be found on a computer like financial fraud and child pornography. Civil cases make use of business and personal records found on computer systems for fraud, divorce, discrimination and harassment cases.
In order to keep pace with the ever-changing technology and advances, course materials for computer forensic training are constantly upgraded to keep candidates updated on the latest techniques and skills in the field of forensics.
Computer Internet Training provides detailed information on Computer Training, Computer Internet Training, Computer Graphic Training, Computer Forensics Training and more. Computer Internet Training is affiliated with Computer Science Education.

Some secrets are hidden in plain view. There is no conspiracy involved, except perhaps a “conspiracy of interests.” Whatever the reason, this is knowledge that most people don’t have that can make your life richer. Here are five examples.
Why Rich People Buy Used Cars
In researching The Millionaire Next Door, Thomas J. Stanley and William D. Danko found that 40% of millionaires buy used cars. What do they know that you don’t? They understand that a car still has most of it’s useful life ahead when it is three years old, but it cost only half as much as when it is new. Of course, they are buying used Mercedes, not Ford Escorts, but the principle is the same.
The Secret Of Draft Beer
In blind taste tests, draft beer consistently tastes better to people than the bottled version of the same beers. People like the bottle in front of them as a matter of identity (”I’m a Bud man”), or so they don’t appear cheap. If you don’t feel that your brand of beer is important to who you are, and you don’t measure your worth by others opinions, why not drink the better beer for less?
The Dirty Secret Of ‘Free Trade’ Agreements
Have you ever wondered why so many people protest “free trade” agreements? You may have the impression that they are all socialistic in their beliefs. It is true that in the U.S., Canada and Europe many are against free markets. What isn’t reported here though, is that the protesters in Central America, South America and other countries are just as often protesting for free trade.
“Free trade” agreements are about regulated trade, with every country seeking advantages that have nothing to do with fair or free trade. Some protesters know that if the U.S. subsidizes farmers (certainly not a capitalistic idea), their products can be sold at prices that will destroy competitors who don’t have a government backing them. As often as not, the U.S. and western powers want to avoid free trade, while many small countries want true free trade. “Free Trade Agreement” is just an expression used for political purposes.
New Job Salary Negotiation Secret
Once you’re actually offered a job, you’re in a much stronger position to negotiate salary. Don’t discuss it during a first interview. Don’t let them think you are more interested in the money than the job. Once an employer has decided on you, they don’t want to start the whole interviewing and hiring process over, and they generally won’t if there is any way they can justify paying what you are asking. Be ready to help them (Why are
you worth it?).
Save On Oil Changes
This one really is hidden in plain view. It is right there in your auto owners manual. Most auto makers recommend a change every 5,000 or 6,000 miles. They wouldn’t recommend such an interval if they thought it wasn’t often enough, since most cars are under warranty through many oil changes now.
Changing your oil every three thousand miles is a marketing idea from the oil change industry. It would reduce wear on the engine if you changed the oil every 100 miles, right? Of course the small extra savings on wear couldn’t compare to the cost of the changes. The appropriate balance for cheapest overall maintenance is the manufacturer’s recommendation.
Look around and you may find there are a lot of secrets that are hidden in plain view.

The Dragon has played an important part in myths and religions since pre-historic times. The history of dragons goes back at least six thousand years, and there are dragon tales and legends from every continent except Antarctica. In almost every culture, and all throughout history, there are stories of these mythical and magical creatures called dragons. Different people have various theories of why so many cultures developed such a long lasting belief in dragons; however, none can actually be proven.
Many believe that dragons were what we now call dinausaurs. It may be that dragon stories partly grew out of people finding dinosaur bones. The thought is that when dragon bones were dug up later, they were given the new classification of dinosaur. Many evolutionists believe that dinosaurs became extinct millions of years before man walked the planet, while others claims dispute this. It is said that dinosaur fossils, which have been discovered along with human footprints and remains, add proof to the ancient people’s history of dragons. Others feel that people forgot that dragons were ever real, and quickly faded into mythology.
In almost every culture and all throughout history there are stories of these magical creatures called dragons. Later, in Europe these dragons in art forms were thought to be real life animals rather than symbols of evil.
Throughout many cultures, dragons may have appeared different, but they have always retained the same basic core elements. When most people think of dragons they generally think of fire breathing monsters, but originally dragons were usually connected with water. To the ancient Chinese, dragons were not creatures of fire, as so many would think, but rather creatures of water. The dragon of the Chinese resided in rivers, lakes, pools and rose in great clouds of mist to promote rainfall. In earlier Mideast stories, the dragons are most often associated with water and wisdom. Historians use this conection with water to distinguish dragons from other mythical animals.
While the east feels that the dragon is a divine, mythical creature that brings good fortune, prosperity and bounty, western dragons are viewed differently. They are connected to the element fire, and they fling their colossal tails about, and viciously create destruction. The contrary views of the east and the west indicate opposing views where humans viewed dragons as a symbols of wisdom and peace, or symbols of chaos and evil. Neither would disagree that dragons were viewed as powerful creatures. This, along with the wide variance in the physical description of dragons, contributes to confusion in the definition of a dragon.
The humans revered the dragons, some clans even calling them gods. Hence, dragons were held in high regard, and their images kept and worn, to win their approval. Originally, it was believed that dragons were the ones who talked directory to the Gods. It was also thought at this time that earthquakes were caused by battles between dragons and gods. In history, many different cultures began to adopt the idea of gods fighting with dragons to restore order.
The dragon may be ancient, but it remains as influential today as it did four thousand years ago. Today, the popularity of fantasy, and such role-playing games as Dungeons and Dragons, means that dragon figurines are a hot commodity.
Online stores promoting dragon items have popped up including http://www.dragon-gifts.com
Francesca Black has long been a fan of dragons with Dragon Gifts www.dragon-gifts.com and www.mystical-creatures.com

After centuries of false notions, the ideal of human power and potentiality was reborn in a period known as the renaissance. The dramatic transformation of worldview from the medieval era went hand in hand with a number of discoveries, innovations and inventions. The world was no longer flat and men and women were encouraged to broaden their thinking and create an open outlook. As we reflect on world history we know that periods of Renaissance were essentially periods wherein our right of freedom to think and express broke through old moulds of thinking and behaviour.
The “Information Age” has placed at our finger tips the ability to find out what is happening anywhere in the world, how to bake a cake or assemble a car; the history and meaning of words; the meaning of life; ready access to complex theories from our greatest scholars to those of our new thinkers. It provides us with art, history, everything imaginable and in every form possible, and even a ‘DIY’ guide to achieve enlightenment. But in this WEB of information we are yet to find our OWN truth and, further, find the time to live it! During the Renaissance, individuals with a medieval mind-set were left behind. Now in the Information and Communication Age, “medieval” thinkers are threatened with extinction.
Renaissance comes from the combination of the French verb renitre, meaning “to revive” and the noun naissance, meaning birth. And so after generations of knowledge and information, more of us are answering an inner call to rediscover, re-turn, re-vive, re-new our lives. Old paradigms are crumbling and new ones are being rapidly constructed in their place. The message is loud and clear, change or else the world will surely change you.
This ’spiritual’ Renaissance asks us all to begin an inner journey, one where we take time to absorb all that history tells us about ourselves, and to discover and honor the leader within. Leonardo Da Vinci, the Renaissance pioneer, taught us ‘curiosita’ - an insatiably curious approach to life and an unrelenting quest for discovery and learning. He taught us to question profusely and to change the form of questioning from time to time. For example, instead of asking how we can get to water, he said ask how we can get water to come to us. This was the start of the underwater pipeline.
This week let us question old attitudes and archetypes and turn a new page. The Renaissance that is dawning today is to seek the secret key to this happiness. This spiritual awakening is taking many out of the “box” and into the sphere of an open-hearted search to feel God’s love in their life. It will be the time where the African saying “it takes a village to raise a child” becomes a reality as each of us lives by values.

Every time I go out to dinner I cannot help myself but to put in the manager’s shoes and think really of what a tough job he has. Must be extremely stressful but also rewarding. I wonder what his or her days are like when you have to pretty much orchestrate thousands of meals going out through one kitchen, while providing great service, great food and a unique environment. It does not sound easy.
For me it really is an admirable position. What would I do if I had to manage a restaurant I wonder? Well the first thing is to take care of myself and have a great nutritious breakfast not forgetting to take my Acceletrim Solution, since I know that I am going to need all the energy possible through my day. Second probably to get a good trustworthy stuff since it probably is the main base and making sure they are well trained. Third to get a fabulous hard working chef who has plenty of experience and really loves to cook since it is the love that really transpires to the plate. Third cleanliness is very important for me so this would also be implemented hour-to-hour, minute-to-minute. Lastly is probably to hire an assistant helper or manger since keeping one’s sanity is important living time for me rest. I really try to make their jobs easier when I dine out by keeping my neediness to the very minimum, since really I am only one out of a few customers.

The women at the cross. Have you ever thought about them?
Why not drift into a comfortable - and meditative - position
on a coach or in a chair and read verses 40 and 41 in Mark,
chapter 15?
When I read those words, one of my first thoughts was
“Gutsy!” I would not have wanted to watch.
Some folks that day watched because they were cruel and
insensitive people.
Not these women. They were there because they cared.
They did not know the answer to his cry, “My God, my God,
why have you forsaken me?”
* They were “just there.” There…
Watching.
Caring.
Grieving.
And probably wondering “Why?” along with Jesus.
Another thought I had as I reflected on this passage was
this: it is good to spend time “being there” with these
women.
It is an ugly scene. Brutality. Hatred. Sounds of
suffering.
Death.
Yet, in the midst of the horror, hatred and cruelty there is
a great deal of beauty.
It is the beauty of God’s love. God’s love for me.
And the love of these women for Jesus.
Yes, it is hard - but good - to spend time there and “watch”
with this caring group of women.
It is good to stop and reflect.
I WONDER WHAT THEY WOULD SAY TO ME?
While meditating on the entire scene, I wrote down the
following question:
“I wonder what they would say to me now as I sit in my
office and reflect on this?
What would Mary Magdalene say? And Mary, the mother of
Jesus - what would she tell me?”
The following is what I wrote down in answer to the question
I posed. I imagined that these women - the women at the
scene of the cross - would say something like this to me:
“Lee…
You can’t imagine the agony. You just can’t imagine. We
could hardly look.
Unbelievable. It was too awful for words. We felt so
helpless and hopeless.
But, we are on ‘this side’ of the cross now.
Like you.
And we say to you: ‘Spend some time here, Lee.’ Don’t
breeze past these few short lines in your Bible.
He suffered for a purpose. Never let your heart stray too
far from that one great truth.
You see, we heard him.
We heard him cry “Why?” We also heard him ask the Father to
forgive those in front of him.
Take strength in his love.
Take strength in the Father’s love.
To be sure, you should allow the pain of those moments to
bring pain to your heart.
But be quick to pray to him and ask him to guide you through
the process of seeing him there.
Then, ask him to give you a deep, abiding sense of his being
with you here…
In your world.
In your heart.
On this side of the cross.
And pray for your world, Lee. Don’t forget that. Let our
Savior’s agony be your motivation to pray for people.
People like us.
We needed him - more than we realized at the moment.
More than a person we loved. More than the one we called
“the Messiah.”
We needed him as our Savior.
Just like the world does.
The people of the world need him, Lee.
Where you were raised.
The city where you received your education.
Where you were in Viet Nam.
They *all* need him.
Think about that - and embrace him. Embrace him with all
your heart.
Believe us. You will never regret that.
You see, Lee, we’re with him now. We see him in a much
different light. We cannot even begin to describe him to
you as we see him now.
But you will know - someday.
You will know.
So hold on. Come here often to take a look.
But also look beyond the agony of the cross, his death, and
his burial. Be sure you see something else we saw: the
empty tomb.
We’ll look forward to ’seeing’ you there with us.
Standing in awe.
Worshipping.
And growing to love him more there before the empty
grave.
May our wonderful, living Savior bless your day, brother.
Saved by his love,
The women at the cross.”
YOUR TURN…
May I encourage you to read Mark 15 and 16 — stopping long
enough at the cross to think about what happened on that sad
day? But, please don’t stay there. Move on from the cross
to the resurrection.
And your reflections are…? Maybe a few key words?

What makes a good interest story?
An interest story is just that, an interest story. It means that you have something interesting to say and therefore have something of interest to be printed. The problem is that everyone else has something of interest to say. You must make your interest story very unique and something that the readers of the media will want to read. Without a twist, you become just a common place story that will likely end up in the waste basket. So how do you make your story interesting? First you must see what the media is looking for. Each newspaper, magazine or other publication has a different slant to make their publication more saleable. You will need to gear your story to satisfy their needs. Secondly, you should also take a look at what your story is and make sure that it is a story that you can repeat quite easily. Do not make things up because you may find yourself in a position to defend or expand on the story and will not know what to say.
Lastly, the story will need to be part of how you have defined yourself and your business. It is the essence of the company with you as a part of that company. The interesting story may be a unique way you have dealt with customers to make them happy, or it may be a technology you invented to fill some unique niche. You must make your story worthy of reading and worthy of printing in the media. An interesting story can be anything from the way to present your proposals to how you aid other businesses to succeed.
An interesting story is likely to lead some people to contact you immediately, and perhaps other newspapers or publications will also want to know more. You must prepare yourself for additional articles and expansion of your story. You will also find that people on the street or at networking events will want to know more too. What a perfect opportunity to pass out your business card.

Bette Daoust, Ph.D. has been networking with others since leaving high school years ago. Realizing that no one really cared about what she did in life unless she had someone to tell and excite. She decided to find the best ways to get people’s attention, be creative in how she presented herself and products, getting people to know who she was, and being visible all the time. Her friends and colleagues have often dubbed her the “Networking Queen”. Blueprint for Networking Success: 150 ways to promote yourself is the first in this series. Blueprint for Branding Yourself: Another 150 ways to promote yourself is planned for release in 2005. For more information visit http://www.BlueprintBooks.com

Using leaflet distribution services are one of the most redeeming ways to gain real advantage over your competitors. How? Direct Mailing is the answer. By employing a prolonged leaflet distribution promotion you can reach uttermost
exposure via the letterbox. Its a very over looked promotion technique which works very well, that is ofcourse is using leaflet distributors
If your product is made to appeal to a general market and you want to concentrate on a really special field, door-drop campaigning is a good, low-cost way of contacting your target market.
But certain in the planning of your leaflet distribution promotion as this is fundamental if you are to make the most of your investment.
Leaflet distribution lets you to establish specific response from directed groups of customers. It’s a especially
useful instrument for small business organisations because it allows you to direct small resources where they are most likely to bring about result and quantify the success of promotions accurately by analysing answers. Just remember that the answers of leaflet distributoin aren’t assured. A badly planned or targeted adverting campaign will be a waste of your hard earned money
There are a list of diverse methods in which leaflet distribution has been misused in a semipolitical way. Many of these grounds are as follows. One of the most common functions of brochure drops is to provide individuals with information to counterpunch data that has been distributed by the opponent. The booklets can also be used to threaten people with an assault. This is especially likely in differences of opinion in which armies can inform enemy parades that they will invade if no action is made. The leaflets in war situations are often used to encourage the opposition to surrender and if how to go about surrendering without facilitating a retaliation.
If you have made up your mind that a leaflet distribution will be a good form of advertisement in order to bring in some much needed likely business, then you need to set about the task of selecting the best company to conduct the promotion for you.
On That Poin there are numerous elements to be thought when doing this, these are fundamental in incurring the greatest effects from your campaign.
You need to think where you are going to aim your material and the coverage and penetration that you want to achieve. If you are just thinking of a reduced distribution in the local area, it may be foresightful to pick out a smaller localised business who just manage the small-scale distributions in one region. They are quite in all probability to be cost effective, and have lower lead times. Accountability may be a problem if matters do not go according to plan, so this requires to be weighed against the number of financial spending.
