There are many jobs offered now a days but many of them require you to take a full time course which in many cases, will take you a number of years to complete. A highly recommended career path to take is to pursue and become a para planner or financial planner. To become a certified planner, you need to have a diploma of financial planning which is in the form or RG 146. This course can be taken in about 8 days and usually can be conducted inside or outside of a classroom. If you have the time to enroll in a classroom, you will join other potential planners and will learn basically the fundamentals planning. But if you are a busy person and need to have flexibility with the training schedule, you can choose the distance course offered by several registered training providers. After the 8-day course is completed, an assessor will do some evaluation in the form of a role-play which will eventually be easily conducted if you have read the material given to you initially during the course.
The RG 164 is also required by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission or popularly known as ASIC. In order to be recognized as a certified para planner, you need to have the diploma of financial planning. Once you have this diploma, you are then considered to be a financial planner who is able to deliver quality advices.
