1. AA Obviously the most coveted of all poker starting hands, as there is no other hand better to begin with. All hands going to the flop against pocket aces will be at a decided disadvantage, though when the aces do get sucked out on it can cost the holder a steep price, as it can be difficult to tell when you’ve been drawn out on. Still, if you had to choose a hand to get dealt every time, it would be this one. Slowplay at your own risk. 2. KK Second only to aces, this is the second most wanted hands in texas hold em. Though they are dominated by AA, every other poker online hand against KK is at a similar disadvantage. The main thing you don’t want to see when you hold pocket kings is an ace coming down on the flop, which can pretty much kill all your action. Otherwise, kings often look good. 3. AK A notoriously slippery pokerhand, but still the biggest nonpaired hand in all of poker. Hitting an ace or a king on the flop will give you top pair, top kicker, and put you in a good spot to take the $$ when others play weaker aces and kings. Don’t overplay, though, as it can get you stuck. 4. QQ The ladies are a tough one, in that you have to raise with them, as all hands except AA and KK are behind, but often an A or K will come on the flop and make them look not as good. Still, always worth a raise and reraise.
